about

This one started as a demo by nEa (aka NEA, aka STBD) for a project that never happened. In that demo was the original drum loop I butchered for this track while striving for a Jim O'Rourke remix sort of vibe, as well as a synth harp part that became the core structure of my melodic arrangements.

I'm not sure how the intro started taking form, but as it developed, I couldn't stop hearing a Black Crowes' type of sound. So I asked JarrettBartlett.com to contribute a guitar part for that short little bit, that would emphasize that particular sound & boy, he really nailed it (as usual).
